Family Pictures

I gave a little taste of our family pictures that we had taken and then it got busy and it totally slipped my mind to post the rest of them! Here are some of our favorites! We were really thrilled with how they turned out and I can't get over how OLD my girls are getting!

Disneyland at Christmas

In lieu of a big Christmas this year we decided to take the kids to Disneyland to experience the Christmas magic!! It was beautiful of course and we had a wonderful time! This trip was filled with firsts! Bella was tall enough to ride the Matterhorn and Lilly was tall enough to ride California Screamin (the big roller coaster)! Bella was much more aware of everything this trip and pointed out every mickey shaped thing she saw! She absolutely loved meeting the characters this time! She got SO excited and would shake her hands up and down in anticipation! She wasn't even scared of Jack Skellington! We got to hang out with our friends Nic, Melissa and Melissa's little sister Julie and also Joe, Kayla and Jadyn on Thursday which was a lot of fun! It was simply magical watching the castle/tree lighting and of course the snow on main street! We had a wonderful trip and made many lasting memories!!

Halloween 2011

Another year, Another Halloween! We went trick or treating this year in Grandpa Rick and Grandma Sue's neighborhood. We met up with some friends for church and set out! This was Bella's first year trick of treating and she absolutely loved it! She wasn't very fond of our friends scary mask though! He had to wait until she already got her candy and then he went up and put his mask on at every house... he was a good sport!

This year, Lilly dressed up as Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Cydney dressed up as Hermoine from "Harry Potter" and Bella was (of course) Jessie from Toy Story!

Riding

Horseback Riding Lessons

A few weeks ago Cydney started Horseback riding lessons! It's a great program in Animal Husbandry that not only teaches her how to ride but also about how to CARE for the animal! She has only had 2 lessons but loves it so far! Bella also loves going to see the horses and this week she even got to ride!!

Swimming Lessons!

Last week the girls finished their 2 weeks of swimming lessons! Cydney was way too advanced for her class, I guess I didn't remember how well she could already swim and Lilly needed to be moved into Cydney's class! Oh well, they still had a great time! Cyd moves onto the Otter class and Lilly Minnow! They had a great time! Here are some pictures!

What Bella spent her time doing during swimming lessons. I opted out of the mommy and me lessons this year, I didn't think my stubborn strong willed 2 year old would be willing to cooperate this time around!

Mothers Day 2011

My girls spoiled me with homeade gifts and cards this year and they were so special to me that I just wanted to share them with everyone. I feel so blessed to have such caring, sweet girls. I loved that this year Cydney was able to really write what she wanted to say, her words brightened my day! Lilly must have made me 5 mothers day cards over the course of a few days leading up to Mothers Day!

I even got a "silly" Card from my "other child" Philip :)

Disneyland March 2011

We just got back from our annual spring trip to Disneyland! This was an exciting trip because it was Bella's first REAL time! We took her once when she was 6 months old, but obviously she doesn't remember that trip! We were really excited to share something we love so much with our baby girl for the first time!

I was a little worried going being outnumbered and all but it ended up being great. Bella did wonderful for being a 2 year old. She had patience in the lines, wasn't scared of anything and absolutely LOVED talking to the Princesses. We walked into the park our first day and she saw the castle and freaked out saying "Disney!!". That's my girl :) She was also very excited to go on Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters and Toy Story Mania being that she is obsessed with toy story!

The big girls had a blast as well. Lilly still isn't tall enough for Indiana Jones and California screaming but she had good spirits about it and enjoyed the "thrilling" rides that she CAN ride such as Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Tower of Terror! Cydney enjoyed being big sister this trip and helping out as much as possible... And asking a MILLION questions!!

All in all it was a really fun trip and we can't wait to do it again of course!

Halloween 2010

In keeping with my previous posts being late.... Here is Halloween just a couple weeks late! Ha ha

This year the girls went with an Alice in Wonderland theme. They decided last year right after Halloween what they wanted to be this year!

Bella used Lilly's old Alice costume, Cydney was the Queen of Hearts and Lilly was the Mad Hatter! I let them wear fun makeup this year with their costumes and they loved it. Cydney wanted to look like the Red Queen from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Lilly wanted her makeup to "look kinda like the mad hatter" (aka Johnny Depp) So I had a lot of fun playing with that!

For the first time Cydney was not with us this year, She got invited to go trick or treating with one of her friends, so she was very excited to do that! Part of growing up I suppose, it made me a little sad!

We took Lilly and Bella to a local Harvest Festival which turned out to be extremely packed, so we packed them up and went to back to our usual plan for Halloween... Trick or Treating at Grandpa Rick and Grandma Sues! They had special bags made up for the girls and Ashli and I took Lilly out while Daddy and Bella stayed back to watch the Giants game ;)

October 2010

 Things have been non stop for us this fall!! Last week I went with Lilly's class to the pumpkin patch! Lilly had so much fun on her first field trip! The girls got their report cards and Cydney had straight A's and Lilly had all "S's" and only one P :) We are very proud of the little young ladies they are becoming! Cydney also tested last Saturday for the "GATE" program. (Gifted and Talented Education), she seems to think it was easy, but we will find out her results in the next week or so! Here are some pics around the house and of the pumpkin patch :) 

Visit to the Vegas and So CA!

Hmmm I think I LIKE the way that sounds... but maybe that is just me personally! ;)

Saturday afternoon I drove down to Loma Linda to visit the Paul, Kristi, PJ and Gabriella for the first time since her surgery, With all 3 girls in Tow!!!!

Sunday we had a good old sleepover for the girls, Complete with makeovers, a fashion show, wii and and Tent!

Monday we went to the Splash Pad! Bella wasn't much of fan, but what IS she a fan of these days! The older kids (and moms!) had a blast!

Tuesday we got up and headed to Anaheim! We got there about lunch time and Kristi went and picked up our picnic lunches for World of Color that night! We walked back over to dland park, sanitized a table and dug in. After that we went to see Minnie and the Princess'. I was SO excited for Bella to meet Minnie... as was she... Until she rounded that corner! She was super freaked!! Hmm... I guess we just wait to see when she is a little older! lol After that we checked into our hotel. Rested a bit, Caught the Street Party before eating dinner at Tomorrowland Terrace. One of my FAV places there :) While We ate the girls rocked out to their dance party! :) Then we headed over to CA and the girls shook their groove thang some more at the Glow Fest they have going on over there! Then it was time for WORLD OF COLOR!

Wednesday we slept in... Well everyone but Bella and I did. Then we had lunch at La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney. I also shopped for some things for Missa and Nic's wedding. :) Then we headed out to Beverly Hills. We got a little side tract ed on the way... We decided to go find Kellan Lutz' (Emmett in Twilight) house. We knew the street because he mentioned it on the Bonnie Hunt show. We found it and were taking a couple pictures when his head popped up from behind the front fence!! Ahh! We screamed a little and drove off. Too chicken to do anything else ;) lol.

From there we headed to Sprinkles Cupcakes and Crumb Bake shop in Beverly hills to have a "cupcake off". We got our competitors and got the kids some dinner and went to a local park to let them run off some steam. Hmm. Sprinkles vs Crumb. EQUAL! just DIFFERENT! There were things I Loved about BOTH. Sadly I left the rest of mine at Kristi's!! :(

All it all it was a wonderful time spend with awesome friends. When we left thursday evening... Lilly started BAWLING, "I'm going to miss them!" :) Little Besties are starting to "get it" more and more. Hopefully we can return soon... Love you so much Vega Family! Thank You for EVERYTHING!!

Swimming Lessons

The girls finished swimming lessons yesterday for this year! Cydney was a minnow, Lilly a Seahorse and Bella a Turtle. Both older girls did awesome! Bella was not so fond of her class... She LOVES water and swimming but it was right at nap time so that didn't work out so well!! The girls and I also made a new friend. A little girl from Lilly's class also named Bella and her mom Heather! It was awesome spending some time with them this week! Here are some pictures of the girls yesterday on their last day!
