Mothers Day 2011

My girls spoiled me with homeade gifts and cards this year and they were so special to me that I just wanted to share them with everyone. I feel so blessed to have such caring, sweet girls. I loved that this year Cydney was able to really write what she wanted to say, her words brightened my day! Lilly must have made me 5 mothers day cards over the course of a few days leading up to Mothers Day!

I even got a "silly" Card from my "other child" Philip :)

Mothers Day!

Its just a few days late but I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day! Mothers Day is a bittersweet holiday for me as I don't have a relationship with my own mother. It is by my own choice and I know it is the right and healthy choice for me and my family. 3 years ago I made a choice that Mothers Day would no longer be about "her" and how much she has hurt me. I made the choice that it would from that day out be about MY relationship with MY daughters. I am SO SO SO Blessed. Words cannot express... Literally how much my daughters mean to me. The special and unique relationship I have with every one of them is so awesome and precious to me. I thank God every day for blessing me with such awesome creations! I never ever want them to experience even a splinter of the hurt towards me that I've felt towards my mother... And I know they never will. It amazes me how much they love and trust me. I don't deserve it, Yet they put their love and trust in me 100%! They fill my heart with laughter and joy every single day!! If I can be 1/2 of what they THINK I am That will make my mission on earth as their mommy a success!
