In lieu of a big Christmas this year we decided to take the kids to Disneyland to experience the Christmas magic!! It was beautiful of course and we had a wonderful time! This trip was filled with firsts! Bella was tall enough to ride the Matterhorn and Lilly was tall enough to ride California Screamin (the big roller coaster)! Bella was much more aware of everything this trip and pointed out every mickey shaped thing she saw! She absolutely loved meeting the characters this time! She got SO excited and would shake her hands up and down in anticipation! She wasn't even scared of Jack Skellington! We got to hang out with our friends Nic, Melissa and Melissa's little sister Julie and also Joe, Kayla and Jadyn on Thursday which was a lot of fun! It was simply magical watching the castle/tree lighting and of course the snow on main street! We had a wonderful trip and made many lasting memories!!
Just a mom getting through life with Faith in God, Trust and a little Magic sometimes!

Christmas Play 2010
This year the annual Christmas play at church was called "Back to the Manger". Cydney had the lead role of the computer nerd "Norma"! She did an outstanding job remembering all her lines! Lilly played 3 different characters because there was a small number of participants this year and she did wonderful as well! Here are some pictures from the night! Notice how much Lilly has grown.... She is catching up to Cydney quick!

Baby Girl had a few Christmas outfits this year that people got her, So I tried to rotate them and get pictures of her in them all!

Christmas
We had a nice Christmas this year. My family came over on Christmas Eve and then we hosted Christmas for Hubby's family for the first time this year! Baby Girl also celebrated her one month birthday on Christmas as well. I have quite a few pictures so I will keep it short! Enjoy!Saturday, December 13, 2008
Its been a while!
Wow! It's amazing how time flies when you have a newborn!!! Needless to say things have been a little crazy around our house lately!
Baby girl is now 2 weeks and 4 days old! She had her 2 week checkup on Wednesday and weighed in at 7lbs 13oz! She gained a whole pound in one week!! She's my little piggy! Everything else was great except her cord STILL hadn't fallen off.. it was beginning to stink but I'm proud to report that as of about an hour ago she now has a Belly Button! Yay!! She has become a bit colicky the past week. She just SCREAMS for no reason at all for a few hours when we're wanting to go to bed. Usually starts about 10pm and can last a few hours. I've tried all the "home remedies"... Swaddling... Gas Drops... Gripe Water... but they have all been no help. :( I feel so helpless! Moo and Sweet Pea never had it this bad! Needless to say it's making mommy VERY tired!
I'm healing pretty well! My steri strips came off Tuesday and I barely have a scar! Now to get rid of this extra skin... ;) Slowly but surely! I can't start exercising for another 6 more weeks. I'm still in pain but everyday gets better. I can def tell when I overdo it. Which is probably more often than not.
The Big Sisters went to their Grandma's this past week since Sweet Pea is "off track" for the month of December. This was a nice break for Mommy and also allowed me to get some Christmas shopping done! (aka overdoing it!) Hubby and I enjoyed some nice alone time with Baby Girl without the "Vultures" hovering! (Moo and Sweet Pea)
We have a busy couple of weeks coming up that include the Girls Christmas program on Dec 20/21 at church! Sweet Pea has a lead role and solo! They are both so excited for this! Sweet Pea also has her school Choir Christmas program on the 18th!
Last weekend was also "Cunkle Joe's" wedding! The Girls were flower girls and Hubby was a groomsmen. The wedding was down in Tulare since Auntie Kk is from Bakersfield. So this was baby girls first "road trip", time in a hotel, and wedding all in one! It was long a drive that involved a nail in our tire and an hour at a tire shop in Fresno. But the wedding was gorgeous... the girls did great... and Baby Girl was an angel! And we're so happy to have welcomed Auntie Kk into our family!!! Now they need to hurry up and move closer to us!! Here are some pictures from the event!
